Hi, I’m Julia —

a creative and strategic thinker and designer based in Hamburg, Germany. As a German-American, I combine the friendliness and optimism you’d expect from a Washingtonian with the organizational skills Germans are famous for. In the U.S., I worked in marketing and communications at internationally-renowned museums writing copy, conducting media relations and developing communication strategies. I was often envious of the graphic designers I was working with — so much so that I quit my job, went back to school and started working in the design field (best decision ever!). Now I am interested in merging my design, writing and organizational skills, and contributing to projects that make the world a better place.
